Paul, that's the problem. Under a real security plan, the pilot could never open the door, even if someone was dying outside. He's responsible for all of the lives....and if he gives up the cockpit, he's given up any hopes of saving any of the remaining passengers... Like the new election booths in Florida, there is going to be a major revamping here (airplanes, security/medical personnel on more flights, security at airports), and airplane tickets cost are going to go up quite a bit in next few years to pay for it..
