Thanks, DJ. SI(Jeff) is already in my e-mail address book. Usually I try to get people out of SI jail. Very rare that I try to get someone put into jail, but it has happened before. I have told him before that it's unwelcome, and I asked MythMan and Lucretius to get him to stop on the Clown Free Zone, and I think they did, so I thought that would give him the message. I am not a total wuss - I did get off one zinger a while back, but unfortunately, it backfired, made him even worse: Message 16164330 To everyone else who has offered support, thank you. This is a good thread, we need to keep it that way.

I'm O Negative (universal donor) and tried to donate blood yesterday. It was impossible as the lines were too long, four to five hour wait. It seems that many citizens felt compelled to do something and donating blood was the only practical response many could make. I mean, who can lob any rockets bin Laden's way? A beautiful human response which simply doesn't happen unless a disaster takes place. Absent such a calamity, blood banks run dangerously low. I know--I get calls all the time because of my blood type.
