Stockman Scott,

>>>> Chinese express sympathy over attacks but say US also to blame...http://sg.news.yahoo.com/010912/1/1fpxf.html<<<<

Having had significant exposure to overseas opinions, due my previous employment, the above opinion was not uncommon. My first exposure to those opinions was when I took my first trip to HK/TAIWAN about 27 years ago, as a student. I went over as an naive American-born-Chinese and was so surprise to hear that sort of opinion towards the U.S., especially when I was in TAIWAN which was a strong ally to the U.S. That type of comment coming from mainland CHINA, would have been expected, but coming from Taiwan, surprised me.

After getting into the international trade industry, my exposure to foreign opinions grew, and its fair to say that that the above opinion was not that uncommon.

Having worked in the World Trade Center and the area for many years, and having many friends and acquaintances who worked in the Trade Center - prayers and sadness.
