Call me naive .... but I've stolen an idea from Black on Blue on Tom Hua's thread.

I'll be covering my shorts when the market opens ...

I'll then take Monday's account balance and tomorrow's account balance ...

and donating the difference to the American Red Cross.

I could use the money, I would rather soothe my soul a bit.

In my opinion there are no moral questions when trading stocks or futures long or short. Leave that moral dilemma to those who don't want to trade Seagrams or Phillip Morris.The hedge funds and brokerage houses are going to make as much money for themselves and their clients the second this market opens. That is their job period. They will use every tool we don't have access too and couldn't care less if they wipe us out. Just as its a lawyers job to get the best outcome for his client wether he takes the moral high road or not.

Anyone who urges Individual investors to stay long or short when the market moves against them for any reason and throw there money away is wrong. Its sure is a coincidence that those that are long right now suddenly are using patriotism to attack shorts.
