I also hope that we take out the Govt of Afganistan also

Isnt America the country that armed and set up the Taliban Govt. of Afghanistan??

I understand 1/2 of Afghanistan population is in Pakistan and 1/2 in China. Only those who were unable to move have stayed in Afghanistan.

NATO is on board now under Article 5 - an act against one is an attack against all.

Curiously, before that tragic day, I thought the recent extraditions of high-ranking Mexican (5/2001) and Columbian (9/2001) drug lords were the start of more waves of violence.

IMO, it's only a matter of time before narcoterrorism's billions find their way towards sustaining other terrorists, if it hasn't do so already.

Under conditions of a new form of warfare, doesn't this require a new type of moral and ethical behavior from, say, offshore banks that wittingly or unwittingly facilitate the flow of funds that ultimately finance the butchering of innocent civilians?
