I repeat, after Pearl Harbor patriotic Americans bought war bonds and pitched in. Together we worked to save the economy during a difficult time. This situation is akin to that. All thoughts of shorting from this day forward should be put on hold. Shorting puts a weight of the equities market. To short now would be in effect helping the terrorists achieve a victory. Whatever short positions you already own, cover them on open. Might be the best price you'll ever get anyway.
