It's amazing...I mean I understand where a legitimately conscientious person who has never been a trader could make that point, but AS is too transparent in his little crusade and his severe need to be rescued from dip buying frenzy he embarked on and documented for all to see over the last year or so.

Short Selling at Schwab has not been suspended.

They are limiting it on newly opened accounts, as they are limiting the use of margin in those same accounts. My understanding is that this is more for logistical reasons than anything else.
