I agree, marginmike....I think that, historically, we have had success in dealing with such irrational societies (eg Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan) by taking over their society and implementing a constitutional republic, with a long transition period of close monitoring and control. Its too bad that we did not do this with Iraq in 1991 when we were positioned to do so. I am not sure that we have the intellectual support or political capability to take this approach today. I think it would be a mistake to have a long drawn out, low intensity effort against these people who hate material progress, and value life in another world more than life in this world. Robin

MM - This evil starts in Saudi Arabia. They are the most fantic. Did they allow US soldiers to celebrate Christmas openly? How many churches are there is Mecca or Medina. They are the one who fund this plague all over the World. They build so called palces of worship that are then used to teach blind hatred to children. I It is the philsophy that hided behind the cloak of a religion that is doing this. This is no religion it is the incarnation of evil. Osama is a Saudi, a ruch Saudi. Check out the Wahabi religious sect in Saudi, looki it up on the Web. Is is Arabs who beheaded Christian hostages in the Phillipines last month? Is it Arabs who killed thousands of Christians in Nigeria this month or Arabs who are killing Russains or Arabs who are kliing Christians in Sudan or in Algeria or in former Soviet Asian republics? Please tell me who is doing all this that never gets much of a mention. Why is it that no-one gets upset when thousands of Christians are killed? Why doens't CNN make as much a fuss about that as tehy do when they fil an organized TV riot of Arab children in Jerusalem? What is so cheap about Christians that they don't merit any CNN coverage when they are butchered? Why. Best, L
