Hi Amots - sorry to interrupt your dialog with Steve, but one way to your quandary [your stmt could be rhetorical, but it doesn't matter] What if the terrorists put kids in front of them on the way to kill you ? is to get to them before they can hide behind the kids [or innocent people.] But of course, the next question is, how? What about civil liberty etc etc if it involve surveillance etc etc. Well, unfortunately, there is no perfect solution to please everyone. Maybe one should understand a social contract, within a nation and amongst nations, require some give and take. Ultimately, I think Steve got the right idea that aggressors and victims cut across racial and cultural boundaries. This is not the US against some govt[s] but to protect the innocent from the fanatics best, Bosco
