If you feel that way then perhaps you should change the channel.

Mob rule is not justice.

What is justice?

but violence begets violence

Yes...it does.

But violence is necessary to respond to an attack on our freedom and way of life.

We shouldn't simply bring these terrorists "to justice." These are soldiers who have already declared war on the United States, soldiers of a vicious and fanatic enemy who has repeatedly sworn to destroy America... until we stop hiding from that fact we won't be able to neutralize and eradicate them effectively.....

We don't need "proof beyond a reasonable doubt," we're not in a criminal court room... Osama Bin Laden and his lieutenants have repeated called for the destruction of the United States... well, he's doing it, piece by piece... we need a joint session of the Congress called by the President of the United States for the express purpose of formally declaring war upon the Osama Bin Laden group and all of his allies who have aided and abetted him over the years, i.e., Afganistan, Yemen, Iraq, and Libya among others.....

Once that declaration is approved by Congress, we can pursue the war with all the energy and resolve we gave to World War II... the conclusion can only be the unconditional defeat and surrender of the Bin Laden group and his allies... if this means the deaths and/or capture of every one of the men who comprise the leadership of the nations which have supported him, so what.....

We may again shoulder the main burden, but we need to invite every nation whose prosperity depends upon peace and stability to join us, and that includes Russia and mainland China... certainly those nations have just as much to lose if we fail and just as much to gain if we succeed.....

We are NOT the victims of a criminal conspiracy, we're at war... If all we do is "bring them to justice" we lose... the choice is ours.....

There IS a solution in vengeance here...

If we exact a quart for every drop spilled then the chances of further government sponsorship or even sanctuary decreases exponentially.

If we hit Afghanistan HARD and prove that we will no longer distinguish between the terrorists and those who harbor them - that governments will be accountible - the game becomes significantly more difficult for the Bin Ladens of the world.

I also think we should go after his extended family's assets... and his immediate family's lives... He has a son in Pakistan.

Re. "Violence begets violence"

You will note with great benefit that the United States of America is no longer at war with the Empire of Japan or Nazi Germany.
