Not to mention the smoke and fumes being emitted from the burning rubble. I agree that the fact that anyone could survive is nothing shy of a miracle. We need a few more miracles, as though there are survivors, they are not safe yet. Not knowing would be horrible. But knowing that your loved one is alive, but not knowing if they will be rescued in time, brings a whole new fear into play. I cannot imagine which would be worse in the long run. Cell phone batteries last how long??
