One thing that people on this board need to understand is that we all react to stress differently. SOme people go into mourning for a long period of time and then become angry. Others rage first then give way to grief. Others look to analyze and find out what could have gone wrong. For any of you to say that there is one acceptable way in which we should act is presumptuous.
Good luck and I am sorry if I have offended you.

Blame no, but is is past time to get our act together:

WSJ:

Two parties are responsible for this sequence of atrocities. The moral blame falls exclusively on the perpetrators, who as of this writing remain unknown.

The tactical blame falls on the U.S. government, which has grievously failed in its topmost duty, to protect American citizens from harm. Specialists on terrorism have been aware for years of this dereliction of duty; now the whole world knows it. Despite a steady beat of major, organized terrorist incidents over 18 years (since the car bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in 1983), Washington has not taken the issue seriously.

We have allowed our Federal Government to become totally distracted with issues it has no business or RIGHT to be involved in. TO THE DETRIMENT OF IT'S PRIMARY PURPOSE - PROTECT AMERICANS FROM EXTERNAL THREAT.

It's more vital now then ever before that the Federal Government SHED the distractions, focus it's energy and wealth on the task ahead.

One lightning strike on a training site or capital isn't going to finish this. We are at the beginnning of a decades long war. The quicker we come to terms with this fact, the better chance we have of surviving it.

Katie Curic was on television yesterday blaming Bush for this because he supported Israel! Tell the media this is not the time!
