<gold as a hedge tactic">

I don't view gold as a "hedge" or a "tactic". I view it as the most grossly undervalued "money" in the world today, under the circumstances of the world today.

Bob,

Simply said, gold is money. It is currently manipulated like the yen and the Euro are and like all currencies are, one day or another. This world lives on money. And it is only normal that each nation wants its national currency to be among the best currencies of the world if not "the" currency. Gold is simply the best of all because it is supra-national. For this reason, it is the most manipulated of all currencies.
