Yes, amazing support for the US around the world. We, as the most powerful nation on earth can (and I fully expect will) formally declare war on international terrorism. But, international terrorism is a problem for all democratic countries around the world. We will all have to unite to fight this. And, we all will have to have the resolve to stand by the chosen course of action for as long as it takes to find and eliminate all terrorist organizations AND the organizations/states that harbor and finance them. From my own military experience, this is going to take more time and effort than many are going to be willing to put into it. Some have said it is impossible to eliminate terrorism. This may be true... however, we must eliminate those who are well enough financed to pull something like yesterday's events off. There is only a very few organizations and probably only one that has the capability of attacking international targets in such an organized manner. These organizations have to be eliminated down to the last man. Its going to be harder than it seems... but, it must be done to ensure this does not happen again. Tom
