Timothy McVey (sp) was a serviceman with
a distinguished record.

Fireman are not trained in weaponry.

The solution is to require bulletproof
bulkheads between the cabin and cockpit.

Additionally, I believe there are approximately
4,000 flight a day in the US, hiring enough
Air Marshals is not unreasonable to put an end
to this.

"How about free tickets for policemen, firemen, and servicemen and vets with a distinguished record? "

That sounds like an excellent idea to me.

From what I hear and read, armed guards on aircraft aren't the answer because of the damage a bullet would do to a plane.
