I guess it's a good thing no one will ever look to you for such "guidance". This is a free country Chris, and we are free to make wild statements (like "NUKE 'EM ALL" for example). How nice that most people are able to resist the temptation to suggest that the lives of people with whom they disagree should be restricted (and their career taken away) . That you and Mr. Bill do not understand this, makes me pity you. You do not understand this country that you think you love. Teachers come in all stripes (there are probably even some like you- who would like to take away the jobs of people who do not think like them)- as long as they do their job, and abide by state and district guidelines they are "fit". We are a diverse country. My views are moderate in comparison to real "liberals", or those even further left. But the idea that thoughts expressed in a forum outside of work should be punished, in this instance an ANONYMOUS forum, is McCarthyism to the nth degree. I am continually amazed at you. Amazed you would keep going after me career wise. I am truly sorry that you have so much hate in you. First you get EVERYTHING wrong about credentialling and career experience in California (did you apologize for that? You taught at a private school- did you ever even have any experience with credentials? I can't recall?), then you suggest I am not actually doing what I said I was doing (did you apologize for that? For you are in error.). Now because of an emotional statement I made NOT AIMED AT YOU- you again bring up my career. Examine your motives Chris. This is clearly not about what I said. It is personal and it is ugly. And I am very sorry I posted here again- but I was angry yesterday, as many people were. I rarely post when I am that angry. What is your excuse for your repeated attacks on me professionally? Work for Americans Chris approves of, and joblessness for the ones you don't. Bravo. That WILL be a free country. Not. Gag me. And you wonder why I want a gated community? Because I don't attack people professionally, and in the lowest scummiest ways possible, nor do I go after their families. That's why. Thank goodness for the gates.
