There is nothing treasonous about shorting..however, initiating new shorts that are exploiting the weakness of this tragedy, can be possibly considered distasteful but certainly consistent with American Capitalism.

We are simply asking that people take a trading break and forgo these incident specific profits.

How can you defend not shorting GENI a stock supported by International Fugitive Arms Dealer, Kashhoggi????

Impossible !

It is sick to latch onto this tragedy and to use it to promote your long standing agenda against short selling. We are all sorry that you've lost so much money in the last year and a half, but it's your own darn fault.

Taking a stock position an act of treason? Talk about baseless hyperbole, sheesh.

What made you think I was laughing in my earlier post to you? I was most serious.

Yes, I am an American citizen. Being called ugly by someone like you is meaningless to me. You are obviously living in lala land.

BTW, why did you post that lie on Mr. Pink's thread about Schwab not allowing short selling because of the tragedy?

Regards,

Barb

I don't know why you addressed your comment to me. I don't know you but after reading some of your posts I now would have to agree with those who have declared you the village idiot. Your views about how the capital markets work or rather should work are not only wrong but embarrassingly naive and positively un-American. You should be listening and learning from people like infostream.com and others here who have a more expansive grip on reality instead of flapping your mouth off like you have something important to say.
