With what force? Equal? Massive? Defensive only? Why should we wait for Afghanistan or any other state to fire at us first? Do we need more of us killed before we act intelligently?

Actually, the solution may be as Bush laid out last night. We make no distinction between terrorists and those who harbor them. If Afghanistan wants to deny us access to Bin Laden, they are the enemy.

Exactly, and not just Afghani but anyone and everyone to the ends of the earth who would harbor terrorists. This is our war and we need to rally the just and reasonable throughout the world to this course.
