Hey Cps, Similar story on Russian ruthlessness: In the 1970's, when Americans were being kidnapped on a regular basis (remember Terry Anderson), the Beirut bunch decided to expand their scope and take a Soviet. Of course, the major players in terrorism circles are always well known to the intelligence community. So, no problem. The Soviets rounded up a few mature male family members of those players (family members NOT affiliated with terrorism), castrated them, and deposited them back home with clear instructions for the safe return of the hostages - or else a fair portion of the family gene pool would be slated for further draining. The russians know how to effectively "communicate" with terrorists. Americans seem to think that no matter what a person does they should be entitled to full rights all americans enjoy. Hopefully that has now changed.
