To: freeus who wrote (3612 ) 9/12/2001 1:31:11 PM From: im a survivor Respond to Born and raised in NY, but currently live in NC......still, lots and lots of Family, friends and business associattes up there.....some are currently unaccounted for, but based on their whereabouts, it is safe to assume they are gone.....another odd coincidence...a friend and a business associate ( same person )...works in the first tower. Vacation started on sunday.....he flew down here monday night, only to wake up and see what happened.....flew out of newark......he is pretty shook up, cause his entire office was taken out on impact, so probably no chance for any of them to get away....he cant get in touch with anybody to get any answers......I have a couple more cousins, aunts and uncles, unaccounted for as well......such a shame and waste of life...but I am going to do my part and stay long and go longer on any dips in our equity markets......and any american that wants to help, will not short this market and hopefully shorts will do their part and buy to cover....it's almost like we need to put aside personal agendas and do what is best for america......the terrorists are trying to bring us down....further harm our already hurting economy and equity markets....I say every american should do their part and send a message to the terrorists......shorts will only further erode our markets and actually help the cause of these psycho terrorists....so maybe shorts will consider this and stop to give blood to their country by covering their shorts and helping the grand cause...they can come back and short later at higher levels...but we all need to do what is best for our country right now....I am not short, so nothing I can do in that area, but I will do my part by buying equities, especially on any big drop.....my little ole self is not enough to do anything, but if all americans step to the plate...cover shorts and go long.....we can send a message to the terrorists, as well as get this economy back on track, instead of further erosion and the total collapse of our equity markets.....if we allow that to happen, we lose and the terrorists have won...our whole way of life is at stake and we all must do our own little part to save what we have spent hundreds of years building.......
