sl - It seems unpleasant. Itfeels unpleasant and it is unpleasant but War is unpleasant. We had:- The hijacking and blowing blowing up of jets in Amman. The slaughter if Israeli athletes in Munich. The Achile Lauro The massacre of the Marines in Beirut. Entebe Various other hijackings involving murder Pan Am 101 The 1993 attempt to murder tens of thousands at the WTC Nairobi The Cole And now this tragedy. Each time we have not reacted as if it were war. Each occasion was an act of War. The death toll has been gradually rising. Do you seriously imagine that it has stopped here? This time they have killed in excess of ten thousand people. If we don't stop this madness now it will be far bigger next time. They will stop at nothing. For your information the NAZIs did not persecute Jews by virtue of their religion but by virtue of their race. People are not evil and I am sorry if I have given you the impression that I believe that. To make it crystal clear I do not. Philosophies can be evil. This is one. Teaching young children to hate is of itself evil. That is all the proof I need to indicate evil. Hitler did that and produced fanatic Germans. There was nothing evil about those kids until they had been brainwashed. Young kids are being turned into suicide bombers today as we sit posting eachother. When these people get hold of some even nastier weapon I am in no doubt that they will use it on us. Quote today "Despite condemnation from their leaders Arab public opinion was solidly in favor of the attacks." You can't fight a War with your hands tied behind your back.
