What a hypocrite. You said:

You are one of those people who will find any excuse to bring up Clinton.

Then, in your self-proclaimed, nonparitsan manner you said:

I wish that he was our President not this Alfred E. who occupies the oval office.

BTW, don't you feel just a bit childish ridiculing someone because of any physical characteristics that might resemble a fictional character?

drirak...I share your opinion of our esteemed leader!...His speech last night was underwhelming to say the least. Why can't he speak with passion and conviction like Colin Powell? Why do I feel safer hearing Condoleeza Rice than I do him? The only thing I am thankful for is that Cheney is really running the show. PT

<While I support Bush and his administration in this one, he is still not one who inspires confidence.>

It would be advisable to use "IMHO", when you make statements such as, "he is still not one who inspires confidence".

IMHO, he inspires confidence, compassion and rational behavior.

It is clear you have not been in the military or in a command situation where it was critical that you do what you are told...with the consequence of saving or losing lives.

President Bush is the Commander in Chief. He was elected by the people. During a national crisis unless you have credible evidence that his leadership threatens our nation it is best to leave random feelings of no confidence between you and yourself.

drirak - We are at War and not at peace. During War there are some conventions that are different to peace time one of which is that one does not criticize the President.
