I do not think you will find an argument to the contrary from most of the American public, especially against Afganistan. I suggest issuing an ultimatum to the Taliban goverment to turn over Osam within a certain short time period or else will suffer the consequences...But when you throw Pakistan into the mix gets quite complicated. Taliban is a Pakistani creation, Pakistan is a US ally. Again it gets back to the foreign policy blunders, maybe we don't know how to pick our friends (don't forget that lots of the Taliban are former mujahedin funded and trained by the US for years). Then, if you cutoff Pakistan you got some real problems, remember Pakistan and India have nukes and Kashmir is a powder keg...we live in a complicated world, things ain't that simple!
