Ruthless, calculated, pre-meditated and cold blooded murderers. Their soldiers
carried out the attack. Their network perhaps scattered everywhere by now.
Hiding. The mastermind is somewhere holed up in a bunker. The cowards.
They picked on the unarmed, the defenseless. Can't stand up and be the
man (they imagine themselves to be).

What was their point anyways? They accomplish terror,
destruction, mutalation, pure murder. Did it satisfy their cause, did it
promote so more people will freely change their minds and ideology in
order to join them? Doubt it! .. Sad, I bet there maybe some sicko. Yet, where's the signup booth, they're nowhere to be found. I doubt these terrorist have pushed forward their agendas other than locked themselves and their supporters into their own jails where ever they are hiding. Let a relentless hunt begin.

I've surfed SI and Yahoo these past days and hours. Observing comments from and
responses to the PeopleMarks I've gathered over the years. Emotions and
thoughts range and are as vast as the seas. The will of the people are
as varied as the sand on the beach. From reflection, healing , forgiveness to justice, revenge, avengence and even more extreme.

At one point, I heard the newscaster, now confirmed, that NY Fire Chief
and other top level Firemen were unaccounted for. These men
were at the front lines!! Not cowards in my mind. Hats off to the emergency and aid workers.

In these times, its better listen to each other than to admonish other's comments and opinions that may differ from our own. I admit I'm already guilty of this. For there is some truth in even some small remarks made in frustration and grief. I'm sure we will all want to take back bits and pieces of what we said, written or thought in days to come.
Peace to all.
