What a great idea. I was wondering if there would be a fund set up for those heroes.

Good to see people agree on some things. A friend sent me this bit of info just now:

The Freemasons of New York today established a fund for the families of the Firemen, Police and other Government emergency workers who lost their lives in the Trade Center collapse. The Grand Lodge made an initial contribution of $1,000,000 and we expect many more millions from contributions of Freemasons around the World.

On a smaller scale, Albany Freeasons secured 1000 new sweatsuits (one of the items wanted for firemen) and they are being delivered as I write this.
