>You don't see that if we deal with the leaders about these people that in essence we are dealing with them?

In diplomacy you deal and you usually deal with the enemy. You don't make peace with friends, you make peace with enemies by dealing. Do you want this to never EVER happen again? ( I sure do, I was in New York WTC just last week!). So all the leaders in the Middle East with the leadership of Bush (oxymoron?) must come together and deal with the fundamental causes of this problem. As far as the Taliban are concerned, I despise the bastards but I hope we don't blow away thousands of innocent Afgans ( a very hospitable people despite what the tube feeds us here) so we can show that we are tough. We have been tough on poverty crime and drugs for ages well what are the results? It is a time for NEW approaches to solving world problems and alleviating suffering. But then again what the military industrial complex do? get into banana trading or online trading?
