My sister-in-law who was a Christian missionary to Pakistan (which by the way is illegal in Pakistan and she and her husband and son were forced to leave at a moment's notice) told me recently that there are 22 Christian missionaries in Afghanistan who are under the death penalty right now. If it was not for the kindness of a local muslim policeman in Pakistan they could be in prison or worse dead by now. He drove them to the airport and said if you know what's good for you you'll get the hell out of Pakistan. She also applied and was accepted to go to Afghanistan as a missionary about one year ago but had to abort her plans at the last minute because she became pregnant and there were complications with her pregnancy. And George thinks the terrorists are crazy ... my sister-in-law is crazier! Lola:)
