comb, When you remember that the Brits helped the israelis even as british politicians tried to starve Israel of weapons(to let the arabs cruch them??) and at the same time the british army permitted large amounts of weapons to fall into the hands of the israelis and trained their armed forces well enough that they were able to defeat the dumbass arabs in the war of independence. The palestinians who elected to move out were refused refugee status in the arab lands all over(because this would kiss goodbye the idea that some day they would go home). Instead they were refused integration and forced into bare lans areas that became the refugee camps. Palestinians who went to any other land as refugess were allowed to settle where they liked, get jobs etc and have now become highly integrated into their new countries economies. Many can no longer speak arabic. Some people feel the british politicians wanted Israel to fail and that is why they tried to control the acts of jews to train themselves and equip themselves and even tried to sto the ships of jewish immigrants from various places. To compare them to the arabs is an injustice. Bill
