What a stupid thing to say. Bush is being a president, something we haven't had in 9 years. Pick a better time to ridicule him.

At least he wouldn't have the embarrassment of Clinton, having a female head bobbing up and down under the desk while he tried to address the nation.

Or Gore, who would speak for two hours, and end up having everyone liking the Afghanistanis...

Dear karen: Whats up with you? Bush turn you down or something? Remember, he isnt like Clinton. As to asking his Dad, well that would be another good source of info since his Dad once headed the CIA as I recall. JDN

Well it's good to see you get you news and perspective from rather. Yes he actually said yesterday.
Rather introduces Bush by saying, "No matter how you feel about him, he is still our president."

Yes you are predisposed to hear from the expert on honorable men.

I'm less and less impressed with Colin Powell each time I see him. At least someone told him today that the administration is regarding this as an act of war, not a crime, so he stopped talking about bringing the perpetrators to justice.

I noted with some relish that a reporter asked him pointedly if he was going to tell the US to react with "restraint" to this terrorist act so as not to "escalate" or "increase the cycle of violence", as he has been telling Israel. He didn't get out of that one very well imo.
