They didn't care if they were found out after the fact. None of that would have looked suspicious before the attack. They were dying, what do they care who knows who they were? They probably WANT people to know who they were, so they can be recognized as martyrs for their cause, whatever that may be -- I have to assume they had a cause since I don't think you could get four people to pilot planes into buildings knowing they would die in a fireball otherwise.
