Well said, raptor Many people also fail to realize that shorting is a necessary function of our daily markets. NYSE specialists must do it every day as a function of their job, hedge fund managers are paid to do this every day, and some mutual funds do nothing but shorting as per their plan with their investors (RYURX, for instance). It's part of the everyday yin and yang of the markets, and nothing less.

Velo, As much as I respect you, and I do. I cannot agree that this is biz as usual. I think that shorting our market during these times plays right into the hands of the enemies. Anthony even agrees with me on this and he also makes his living on the short side. The terrorists WANT our economy to be hurt. I for one, refuse to play into their hands. I can wait a few days to before I let my business take precedent over my Country. I have already donated blood, and done what ever I can. Fred
