Now we come to find out they may have been getting 767-757 (757 and 767s have the same basic instrumentation and are the same type rating) training at flight safety international in Vero Beach FL...
Same company has a contract to train Saudi Airlines pilots and many others.
On the other hand, I'm a pilot. Flown a lot of planes but never a jumbo jet. The navigation is the same, the throttles are the same. All planes basically fly the same.
Same transponder etc.
All that would be needed is some familiarity with the controls, approach speeds, hydraulics...etc.
We are not talking about greasing a landing here...
not even lowering flaps or landing gear.

OTOH, seems they were pretty well trained...by us...
