long-gone Thanks...when was that last time you read the Pledge of Allegiance? Today in the newspaper I was looking at several firefighters putting the American flag on one of the damaged buildings in New York when I wondered when was the last time I had said the Pledge of Allegiance. There are two parts that stand out : With Liberty: Which is freedom, the right of power to live one's own life, without threats, fear, or some sort of retaliation. And Justice: the principle or qualities of dealing fairly with others. I truly do believe that whomever committed these acts of violence will be dealt with in due time. lhar
