The response will be partially out of anger. But don't make the mistake of thinking that our country is run by a bunch of cowboys in town for a Saturday's night of wild sex and drunken partying. These guys are professionals, they didn't just graduate from ROTC. That's probably one reason of many why bombs aren't dropping all over the place like snowflakes right now. They're making plans, reviewing their options, making alliances, plotting a course. But yeah, part of it will be out of anger, and that's not a bad thing.
