What if it goes the other way with the massive injections of liquidity at hand? Will you forfeit any profits to those families?

You are amazing in your lack of depth. You expect that people who short do not give to charity, but are greedy filthy people -- but stock bulls must be more American, more charitable, more giving?? Give us all a break --

Again -- your comments defy logic and common sense --
I would encourage you to not judge the hearts of others -- whom you have not met and do not know.

I work for a company that regularly "goes short" in the energy markets -- it has absolutely nothing to do with profiting from somebody's misfortune and everything to do with good business management.

go ahead.. make us scapegoats for your own misery if it makes you feel better.

sh*t happens, some people buy insurance and some don't. you want to knock people who saw the world becoming a much less safe place while clowns like you were still looking at the pie in the sky.. that's fine.

this country has lasted a long time because those with wisdom and foresight have always had enough financial power to support morons like you. and i suppose, hopefully, that we will again.
