I don't think that the two situations are similar enough for your comparison to be valid. The tragedy yesterday was far, far greater than the rocks that have been thrown and the occasional snipper in the West Bank. There is very little left in terms of escalation. Losing as many as 10,000 lives in the horrific manner we witnessed yesterday is as escalated as we will ever see (God save us if I'm wrong).

The escalation is behind us. It's now time to hunt the terrorists down and bring them to justice.
