You also do not understand the argument anymore. Are your ideals to be traded in as soon as the chance to sing "Cumbaya" with a bunch of Stalinists comes along? If that's the case, you never had them in the first place, and are thus one of the keys to why I have had to refer to the conservatives here as "pinheads". Perhaps all Bush has to do is go out and bomb a bunch of Islamic shepherds in Lower Slobovia to make it look like the problem is being dealt with. If that pleases a public that's so shallow that they consider standing up for ideals to be "bigoted" and "hateful", then I guess that's what we (and the shepherds) are gonna get...
