I realize everyone wishes this hasn't happened & I'd bet that most want to see revenge. However, we should not despise them (the Arab people).

They live in a world with little to no hope. They must deal with dictators such as Saddam Husayn. Loved ones could be killed any time at any place. Losing a family member is probably pretty common. Unemployment? They most likely don't even keep track, since there are no jobs. These people don't know "hard times" for they have lived in the same times for the past thirty years. They want to blame someone for their problems, and look at Israel and the United States as a part of a world-wide conspiracy out to keep them out of their holy land and eventually fear they will be annihilated. Every American would do the same, if they felt someone was trying to drive them from their land. Heck, some people already want to annihilate them.

Any of us would feel the same way if we had to live in the same environment as the Arab people. Most people have gone through much less, but result to violence to get back.

It is perfectly natural to be outraged by what has happened, but it wont solve anything unless we try to understand them. Revenge, in my opinion, would just encourage the violence & lead to many more problems. This is important, because our past revenge lead to other innocent people dying in Arab countries, which I think is sad.
