I believe that is true of the leaders. Islam is a tool to them, a lever. If they came from a Christian country, we'd be having a Christian holy war.

The actually ground troops MUST be true believers though. Only a true believer in their cultic madness would fly a plane into a building.

Their "religious beliefs" are just an excuse for them to commit henious criminal acts, just like all other members of the United Planet Forces of Evil. Anyone who blames a religion or a country is making the exact mistake they want made - misdirection.

I agree that the citizens of a particular country are not to blame. It is the governments of a few (including Afghanistan) that need to pay.
