I actually was referring to CB's statements about the enemy as being "priced in", unrelated to financial markets, just as common information.

As to the markets, with this much time going by who knows, but if they keep it closed until monday and we get some feel good news this weekend about progress in the investigation we might even gap up.

Don't repeat that cynical comment again. It's spreading fear and panic. And you may not even be right. I do agree however that it's a good thing markets are closed because any panic selling will be greatly muted. Also expect the Fed and government to move aggressively to boost this economy. And ironically the rebuilding effort will add many billions to the GDP and create many new jobs. After the LA earthquake the economy was booming for years on the insurance, FICA and cheap federal loan money.
