You raise a good point. All the voices of your administration and even old hacks (e.g., McNamara) and "experts" being interviewed agree: * Don't overreact * Build enough of a case to be credible * Get international support (perhaps only moral support) * Take action This strikes me as a wise course. Domestically, they all seem to agree that we have been living too naively and things will have to change. The only thing I would change is putting that Powell fellow in charge. -g/-ng
