The apologists like to talk around the issues..."don't blame, you don't blame me, blame some other guy behind the tree".

Who's apologizing? The training was for a Cessna commercial aircraft. A AA pilot today said that there was some similarity re the instrument panel; however, the best that someone trained on a Cessna could do was steer the 767...not land or take off. And apparently steering was even problem if reports coming out now are correct..that the Pentagon jet was intended for the WH but couldn't make the turn.

How many Americans must die before we get serious? 10k, 20k? 30k enough? Before we stop beating around the bush.

My point is that we are not god like. We were not able to anticipate the kind of scenario that the terrorists came up with...I am not surprised.

If you want to criticize, criticize our airport security...that's where we screwed up, not with a flight school in FL.
