isopatch, It will be less costly both in terms of lives and finances. Do note though that another sub commander will take bin Laden's place when he is apprehended. And another replacment will replace him as we work our way down through the command structure. But much like a conventional war, we will begin to degrade the capabilities of the various terror organizations as we repeatedly destroy their top commanders/lieutenants. Patience and relentlessness are the keys- and about a 30-year time frame for driving all of the fascist snakes out of "Ireland"....
