I believe the Admin stating that the White House and AF 1 were the targets was posturing. I don't believe it and will not believe until I see some specific credible evidence to support this speculation.

That is definately what happened....he ran into the rabbit hole and the entire PR SPIN doctor circle saw the incredible error of the move...no doubt ordered by bush and not the secret service...and upon the realization that he looked like a leader on the RUN .... rushed him back to the oval office for the 5 minute nothing speech. I can't doubt the white house as a target, but AF ONE!? give me a break...like they didn't have aircover!

Tha Nation can be grateful that Clinton is gone, since his eight years of failure made this attack possible. The nation had grown sick of his camera preening and corruption. It's nice to have a competent administration again.
