I was still trying to figure out how to talk to girls, if not trying to figure out why I wanted to do so in the first place. But I DO KNOW that when unrest took place there a few years ago, it was the US and Australia who were at the lead of trying to bring peace to the region, with the US providing the majority of logistical support. I didn't see China sending troops in there... Nor N. Korea. And we didn't see these nations doing anything productive in Kosovo either. Whereever there has been incredible human tragedy, the US has attempted to try and provide relief. But when the US suffers an earthquake, or devastating hurricane, how many nations offer support to us? So for all the "crap" you want to fling at US foreign policy, IT IS YOU, NOT I , who has lost the forest for the trees. And what I can't fathom is why, during such a tragic event as we have recently suffered, you are focused upon events that transpired 30 years ago... Is that not similiar to the same form of manipulation that you Chomskyites attempt to assert against the "system"? Aren't you deliberately attempting to divert attention away from the deliberate act of war that has been inflicted against not only the US, but the entire set of principles that we stand for?? Just because US policy is not executed "perfectly" or even without room for cynicism by certain elements, is not an excuse for you to ignore, or justify the tradegy that our people are enduring at this moment. Methinks you REALLY need to get your priorities straight, my son... We at war whether you like it or not, or whether it has been officially declared. And all the historical "mistakes", manipulations, or miscalculations on the part of the US is not going to change that. Take some of your arguments down to the local bars in your area and see how fast you get your attitude "readjusted". Hawkmoon
