BB:

I think it will be higher than that before the grim total is in.

BB, >>I just saw on Fox news that the Port Authority is now estimating 20,000 WTC deaths.

We stopped at our local Morgan Stanley office today to communicate our condolences and they had just come from a conference call with the CEO. They have had 50% of their people call in. I believe the data shows that about 70,000 people are in the two buildings on any given day. That is 50,000 employees and 20,000 visitors. I would then expect the loss to be more like 35,000 + or - 10%.

Just a guess, but this makes sense to me. A terrible disaster indeed. I hope I am wrong.
