I just talked with my futures broker at Man Financial in Chicago ... he told me ...

(1) When the COMEX market (where gold, silver and copper trade for the U.S.) finally opens in New York, all good-till-canceled orders will be canceled immediately.

(2) Also, on the COMEX, the only trades that will be accepted initially will be liquidation trades at-the-market.

(3) Investors need to, at least for a while, pay very close attention to any trades that they have pending.

This certainly makes me wonder, when the NYSE and Nasdaq markets open tomorrow or Monday, if there will be restrictions or limits on trading there.
