I saw the crashes once and couldn't look again. At the customer site I was visiting people were watching replays of the crashes and exclaiming 'Unbelievable', 'Oh my God' .... I could only think of the people's terror on the planes and anyone in the building seeing the approach. It feels personal, like the death of a loved one and yet I know none of the victims. I felt relief after calling my wife in Toronto and hearing my sister was safe in LA.
