but if you follow Christ then you know as well as I that Jesus commands us to go and make believers of all nations.

Can I sign you up for a mission to Afghanistan ... we have an opening.<ggg>

One thing some Christians seem to forget is that God gave you a brain and he expects you to use it! Christians should try very hard to not be judgemental ... they very closely resemble Moslems when they do that.

The Jesus I know about said that we were to teach the Gospel (the good news of God's love) not "make believers of all nations", as that seems to imply belief in your religion.

Jesus never taught that we were to be "saved by the blood of Jesus, the Christ". Jesus taught that it was faith and belief that brought us closer to God. Jesus did not teach the doctrines of original sin, the virgin birth, and a physical resurrection. These are myths of your religion.

You may claim to be "humbled", but you come across as a spiritual chauvinist (small "s" intentional.).

Perhaps you would be able to follow in the footsteps of Christ more closely if you took off the combat boots of religion and relied on your naked faith.

Peace,
Paula
