Bin Laden won't exactly be sitting by his swimming pool, chatting on his cell phone and waiting for the Delta Force to drop by for a chat after they track down the signal. You may be able to blow up some of his buildings but he will be far, far away for a while, doing everything that a smart, wealthy person can do to hide.

Not every thug is as dumb as the Noriegas of the world, unfortunately. Bin Laden will have prepared his bolt hole far in advance.

In that case, 500 delta troops would be preferable. I think they are trained in that type of extrication procedure. But as Mogadishu showed, it isn't a sure thing by any stretch.
